Three Little Pitties - Friendswood, TX
Three Little Pitties applied for a shelter grant in January 2025 to build a Puppy Barn - a separate area for puppies to be safely trained and socialized before they’re old enough to be vaccinated and play safely with older dogs. “Texas ranks only second to California with a pet overpopulation problem - in the 4th largest city in the US, there is currently not one shelter with open intake. Dogs and cats are being euthanized daily for space. Because of organizations like Puppies and Golf, we can say yes to pregnant and nursing mamas because we know we will have a place for those babies to go.”

Almost Home Foundation - Elk Grove Village, IL
Before AHF rescued him, Teejay was living on a piece of property in Alabama that was bordered by busy streets. He and over 10 other dogs were not getting the care they needed. When brought to the vet for a checkup, Teejay's foster was told that 16 of his teeth were ground down to the gum line, which was causing discomfort. Thanks to Puppies & Golf's generous grant donation in January 2025, AHF was able to provide the dental surgery Teejay needed to live a pain free life. Teejay, now Winston, was adopted by a family with 2 kids and is enjoying life. His adopters say Winston is settling in nicely with their family and that they all love him very much. They also are very thankful to Puppies & Golf for their help!

Adopt A Golden Atlanta - GA
From all of us at Adopt a Golden Atlanta (AGA), we wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude for your incredible support. Your extremely generous donations to cover sweet Maverick's leg surgery AND to select us as the shelter of the month truly meant the world. These donations help AGA provide urgent medical care, supplies, and, most importantly, love to dogs in need - giving them another chance to heal and find their forever homes.
Maverick has been adopted and is living a beautiful life. His leg is healing well and he is happy to be one of our many "honorary" golden retrievers saved by AGA this year.
